Jack Roberts has been the director of Hope Christian Center since 1973. He came to NYC to puruse graduate studies in philosophy at NYU after serving as an officer in the U.S. Navy. Prior to his position at Hope Center, he worked as a probation officer with the NYC Dept. of Corrections. He has also served as teh co-pastor of the Bronx Household of Faith, a closely affiliated local church, since 1971. He and his wife, Pat, have raised 13 children in their home on the same block as Hope Christian Center.
